Another Christmas Post - and not the last!

Catch and I always have fun trying on hats and such at the store. Well, actually it's more me putting hats and stuff on him. :0)

He thought it was so weird when the Christmas tree started singing and dancing on top of his head.
Post Christmas lunch - Mickey Dee's. Catch was all about Auntie Da's fries.

Auntie Bunky and Catch sharing some yogurt. At least I can get him to eat a few healthy things every once and a while.

He couldn't stop giggling when she'd take a bite.
Two or three days before Christmas, we always get together with the Ertel clan at Spencer's BBQ in Choctaw. We always eat great food, play White Elephant, and all the grandkids open their presents. White Elephant wasn't that successful for me this year. I really wanted my own present, and ended up with something quite different. However, I thought it was PERFECT for Lisa, so I wrapped it up and gave to her for Christmas. Let me just tell you - Lisa was very grateful. hehehe...

Grandma Sarah got Catch a bee pillow pet. He loves it!

Look at how handsome he looks! He was rocking his outfit!

Here we go again - "posing" with Nana

Quick snapshot!

Family Photo

Naptime with Nana after Christmas lunch at Grandma Coonie's. He was wiped out! And this was only the beginning of the day. We still had to go to Granddad Manley's, and the Manley side celebration. By 9 pm we were in the car and Catch was already asleep.

Close up on my precious

What are you doing, Mom?!

What a Beautiful Day!

U2 couldn't have said it better! Saturday was such a beautiful day and we had so much fun with family and friends. When I'm not off at a tournament, I LOVE our Saturday morning rituals. We always go to Papa's donut shop and visit with Nana and Papa. Catch was so excited to see Papa and quickly ran up to him. He knows who has the goods. :0) Once we left the donut shop, we stopped by to see Great-Grandma Coonie. Coonie was so happy to see him and Catch is always sweet whenever he sees her. We headed to Nana and Papa's next, but since Catch fell asleep, we headedhome for a nap instead. Let me just tell you, I love my naps. Chris isn't much of a napper, but I'm a much nicer person if I can get one in every now and then. Brooks and I can use as much sleep as we can get these days.

Once Catch woke up, we met the Kesners at Chick-Fil-A for some lunch. Catch threw a bit of a fit and didn't want Chris to sit him down in the high chair, but once he saw fries he sure was fine. BTW - their chicken salad sandwich is AMAZING! Next, we headed to Regional Park. Everyone, their dogs, and extended family were out enjoying the weather. We got a good 45 minutes in before I couldn't take all the people anymore. We played catch (literally), threw the football around, and played on the playground. Half the time Catch was just checking out all the other children running around. He gets so amused with the bigger kids and wants to follow them around. Our last stop for the afternoon was to Pink Swirls. YUMMY - 'nuff said!

We ended our evening with Papa's side of the family at Johnny Carino's. Catch's favorite meal is spaghetti, and he ate plenty of it! By 8 pm, he was fussy and ready to go home. It didn't take him long to pass out once we got in the car. In fact, it didn't take me too long either.

After a great night's sleep, we headed to Gammie's for pancakes Sunday morning! Man, do I love my mom's pancakes.

May I just say, I love my weekends with Chris and Catch. Unfortunately, this will be my last weekend with the family until February 19th. Luckily, it'll be just in time for Christopher's 28th birthday. ;0) That's what Chris keeps saying. You all know the truth. hehehe...

Stay warm this week!

High-fiving Great Grandma Coonie

Coonie telling Chris about his Grandpa

Isn't this a sweet pic?! Too bad Catch's teeth have been hurting him. We couldn't keep his hands out of his mouth this whole weekend.

Headed to the park. Thanks for the book, Chick-Fil-A!

The Pose.

Time to play!

He looks like he's about to pitch it. He really enjoyed throwing to Daddy's glove.

My Gorgeous!

Time to throw (and kick) the football around

Look at the fro on Catch. Daddy won't let me cut it since it turned out so bad the last time. The next time will be on Daddy. :0)

I love my boys!

I tried to get Catch to take a pic next to me, but you can see how that turned out.

This is Catch's favorite thing at the park. He will stay on this forever!

Trying to take Daddy's glove from him. I wish I could have gotten a picture of Catch with his glove on. Catch kept throwing the ball into his own glove. He must have seen Chris do it so much.

Cowboy Up!

It's an exciting time in the Manley Home! We found out yesterday that we'll be having another boy - Brooks Christopher Manley! Something about these Manleys - they just produce boys. :0)

I wish I had ultrasound pics to post, but I need to get them scanned first. The ultrasound technician said everything looked great, and that we are right on schedule. Brooks weighs 3/4 of a pound. hehehe... It didn't take her long to figure out he was a boy, and Chris was pretty proud of that fact. ;0) She also said that he was very photogenic, and Chris replied, "Just like our other son." It looks like he's going to have some big feet like Catchers too. I wonder if he'll get his big, blue eyes as well???

While waiting to see the doctor, Chris and I couldn't help but start laughing at the realization that our house is going to be a zoo. Right now, we holler at Catch for hitting the coffee table with his bat. Next year, there will be 2 bats banging on furniture, us, and each other! I better start sleeping and working out. I'm going to need to be energetic and fit to take care of these 3 rascals (Christopher included).

Right after the dr. appt. I went to buy Brooks his first outfits. Since he's going to be my lil cowboy, I just happened to find a sleeper (on clearance) with the words, "Mom's lil cowboy." I also got the last "Little Brother" onesie. I can't wait for Catchers to meet his little brother. I tried to tell him that he was going to have a baby brother, but he didn't quite know what I was talking about. He just heard the word, "baby" and smiled big. Catch is too cute though. We taught him that my belly has a baby, and now when I ask him to hug or kiss the baby, he'll lift my shirt, and kiss and hug the baby. It's absolutely precious!

I always said that if we had another boy I would decorate his room like the lil cowboy he'll be. So, about a month ago while shopping at Hobby Lobby I saw rows full of cowboy decor. At that moment I realized that this was my sign - I was definitely having a boy. Of course, right after work today I went straight to HL to check out the sales. I found a few adorable things already, but now I just have to wait for the picture frames, lamps, and other stuff to go on sale. It's definitely time to get busy on his room! I'll keep you all posted on all the developments.
.
Sorry, I can't seem to figure out how to turn the pics, so just tilt your head to the right. :0)
This will go on the wall - looks like a belt buckle.

I just thought this sign was too cool

Another sign (this one to represent my love) LOL

The coolest switches and outlet covers EVER!

Christmas Catch Up...

This is going to take a few posts, but I've got to start somewhere. Not all my pics are on the same camera, and I still have some downloading to do. I know, I know, I know...I'll get to that soon (I think).

Christmas is always my favorite holiday, and this year was no exception. Chris and I opted not to get each other presents and buy ourselves our first dining room table. We've lived in our house for 5 1/2 years, and have never really had one. It was Chris's idea, and he even picked it out. Muy impresivo!

I don't know why I thought the table would already come set up, but I was really hoping we wouldn't have to do it. I used to have to put bookshelves and dressers together for my mom. It'd take me forever! Luckily, it only took us 2 hours to assemble the table and 6 chairs.

2 hours later...12:30 am - WAY past my bed time.

Isn't it gorgeous?! Good pick, Babe

Christmas Get-Together with The Grahams and Kesners

We've had so much fun getting to know these families. Catch is fascinated by other kids, so anytime we have get-togethers, he plays hard then sleeps hard. :0)

Trying to get the kiddos still enough to get a pick. This took us several tries and quick fingers on all of our cameras.

Catch trying to get around Baby Kelli to hug Caroline.

Here's Catch's new pose. Don't ask why, because we have no idea. Every time we get the camera out, he closes his eyes but still smiles most of the time. My little nerdball...

Here it is!

The beautiful Caroline in the dress and headband we bought her for Christmas.
Trying to take over the photo session.

I told you he sleeps hard after play dates. He was so wiped that we had to put him down before everyone left.

Random Pic Insert

I love watching Catch and Chris interact
Celebrating at the Orr Family Farm

This is the first time that we've put gloves on Catch. He was a big fan of them. How cute is this coat with the faux fur hoodie?!

Opening his present from Chris's work - Nextep.

He quickly forgot about the cool gift once he saw the cookies. He definitely has my sweet tooth.

Stuffing more cookies...I swear he's a lil squirrel storing extra in his cheeks.

Walking around the farm.

Chris tried to put Catch on a pony, but Catch wasn't having it.
We found Santa's sleigh! Look who wouldn't sit with me. :0(

This was near the end, and it was obviously time to head home.

This is about the only pony we could get him on. hehehe...

Family Fun - We celebrated Christmas on Christmas Even with my mom, sisters, and brother. My mom made some delicious stew and we got to hang out all night. Catch is definitely spoiled when they are around.
Here he is playing with Auntie Bunky.

Uncle Baba and Catch

Gammie and Catch - that pile of clothes next to Catch is all from Gammie. She goes crazy for Catchers!

Auntie Da always gets Catch the coolest shoes - this time it was white and green Adidas. Catch wanted to put them on immediately after he opened the box.
More clothes!
Christmas Morning! I was so excited to see him open up his bat and tee. When he saw the pic on the front of the box, he said, "Ooohhh!" He didn't it again when he opened the soccer ball and goal, and golf clubs and tees. It was absolutely adorable!

He didn't quite hit the ball, but he got the stand!

Tee Time!

The Classic Pose! Let me just say, I'm not the biggest fan of it! ;0)
More to come on Christmas and Thanksgiving. Time to download!
