A Daddy's Love

Chris has been so great with Catch. Anyone watching him interact with Catch knows that he loves him so much. It's so cute that he already has a nickname for him -- Baby Bear. :0) Last night we went on a date and dropped Catch off at his Grandma Lisa's house. We missed him so much and when we got home Chris held Catch so close. He looked at me and said that he couldn't believe how much he loved Catch. Best of all, his eyes were watery. He was so happy that he wanted to cry. What a beautiful moment! It has been one of the best memories yet. I am so happy knowing that Catch will have a loving relationship with his father.

This was from last night.
One of the first sleepless nights after we brought him home.
Catch looks so tiny in his arms. This was soon after we brought him home.
Catch's first bottle.
This is one of my favorite pictures. 30 minutes until church and they were passed out!

Thanks Grandma Brenda!

So my mom has been amazing with finding stuff for Catch. And even better she has found them all relatively cheap. We needed a rocking chair so she found one for $20. We needed a swing and she found a used one for $20 that was a $150 model! Catch really loves looking at the mirror above the swing. He is getting so much more attentive and I really wish I knew what he was thinking. We have been so blessed to have people around us who love helping us take care of Catch. He's spoiled with love and I'm pretty sure he'll always be.

Look at him! He is loving that mirror.

Catch met his other great-grandma!

My sister, Bianca, and grandma came in town last night from New Mexico. My grandma has never met Catch, so I was so excited. Unfortunately every picture we took Catch was not in the best mood. The next time he'll see her is for Thanksgiving. Hopefully he'll be in better spirits.

Catch's great grandma Sulema

My mom bought Catch an activity mat last night. It is so neat and he really seems to like it. He was mesmerized by the mirror and blinking lights. This is actually one of the few times he's lain on his back and not cried. Great buy!

He couldn't take his eyes off the mirror! What a ham! :0)

Welcome to my blog!

So I got this idea from my mommy friend, Meagan-Marie, and I am so excited to start blogging. This is going to be such a great way for our family and friends to keep up with our lives and watch Catch grow. In fact, Chris and I were looking at his pictures from his first couple of days and we couldn't believe how small he was!

We went to Little Rock this past weekend to visit our friends, Jeremy and Meagan-Marie, and my Arkansas family, The Greenlees. Catch did so well! He slept most of the way there and back, which made it enjoyable. We were so nervous about how he would do during a five hour car trip and now that we know he loves to travel, we are excited to plan more.

Already asleep and the trip was just beginning.

Jeremy & Meagan-Marie's 21-month old, Ryne. How adorable is she?! You know those dogs love her!

This is Catch's favorite new position.

He's in his surf outfit and ready for the pool party

One Cool Little Dude! He took Chris's sunglasses off of him and just thought it was the coolest thing when I put them on him. He was smiling from ear to ear.
