Catch's first Christmas was full of snow and wonderful! Although we were in a blizzard, it was so much fun. We got to cozy up next to the fire, take naps, and play all day long. The only sad part - it's over. :0( However, talk about presents! This boy made out like a bandit. Just from all his grandparents, he is set for the next couple of years. It was so funny because Catch was more excited about the tissue paper, cameras, and jewelry everyone was wearing rather than his presents. Go figure!
Every time we took him to another family, all I'd hear was "Oh, he looks just like his daddy!" Then I'd hear Catch say, "Dada, dada, dada." I think there's a conspiracy going on against Mama! ;0) I had a talk with Catch on Christmas Eve about how saying "Mama" on Christmas would be the perfect present. But, it didn't happen. Maybe one day soon though.
He loved seeing all the other kiddos and getting kisses and snuggles from everyone. A few made him cry, which was kinda sad and embarrassing, but for the most part, he was great with everyone. He flashed his adorable little smile, batted his big blue eyes, and showed off on the cool things he's doing now. He tried to do a little crawling on his hands and knees and managed to take a couple of steps. It'll be any day now he'll be flying across our floors. When we took him to see Grandad and Grandma Gloria, I stood him up against their ottoman and he just stood there playing with the papers and stuffed animal. We were all shocked how balanced he was. It's just amazing how there's always something new.
I'll post more pics soon. Hope everyone else enjoyed their Christmas!
Trying to eat Santa's cookies. He got them a couple of times. He's a quick booger!
