Catch has been having a few difficult nights; he keeps waking up several times a night. Hopefully, it’s just a phase and he’ll start sleeping the entire night. I’ll check on him in the middle of the night and he’ll be clear across the other side of the crib! When we play on the floor, he just pushes up onto his hands, but he hasn’t rolled back over yet. But obviously he can, because he switches positions in his crib a few times a night.
Catch still cries sometimes when we change his diaper, so Chris has started distracting him. Catch has a little stuffed giraffe and blue puppy that we keep on his changing table. Chris does this funny voice when he talks to Catch as "Gef the Giraffe" and a different voice as "Big Blue." Catch LOVES them. It almost always relaxes him and makes him smile, even if it is 3:00 in the morning.
Hmmm…what else is Catcheroo doing these days? Oh! He loves his water. At the end of bath time Chris always pours water on him. Catch puts his hand up into the stream of the water and plays with it. It is too cute!
Random Thought: I heard this song called “Smile” by Uncle Kracker the other day, and there is this one part in his song that describes how I feel about my boys. Just thought I’d share it with all of you.
“Even when you're gone
Somehow you come along
Just like a flower poking the sidewalk crack and just like that
You steal away the rain and just like that
You make me smile like the sun
Fall out of bed, sing like bird…”
Boomer was feeling left out. Catch is all about the dogs now. He giggles and smiles when he sees them.
